Wotje ATOLL SOLAR WATER DESALINATION PROJECT
Wotje Atoll Leadership envisioned a water resilient project that ensured over 100% of the entire Atoll's population would have its daily drinking water needs met using high quality and reliable solar water desalination systems from Australia. Green Energy Solutions was able to supply and install a total of 75 solar water desalination panels that produce a total of 450 gallons of daily drinking water for the Wotje Atoll community. GES was also able to train locals on Womej and Wotje, Wotje atoll communities to ensure continued reliability and long term operation of these robust water-making systems.
MALOELAP ATOLL SOLAR WATER DESALINATION PROJECT
Maloelap Atoll Leadership envisioned a water resilient project that ensured over 100% of the entire Atoll's population would have its daily drinking water needs met using high quality and reliable solar water desalination systems from Australia. Green Energy Solutions was able to supply and install a total of 65 solar water desalination panels that produce a total of 390 gallons of daily drinking water for the Maloelap Atoll community. GES was also able to train locals on all 5 of the remote Maloelap atoll communities to ensure continued reliability and long term operation of these robust water-making systems.
WOTJE Solar FREEZER Project
Wotje Atoll Leadership, envisioned a food security project for their only remote, disconnected island community through a project titled "Improving Food security on Wodmej Island". Twenty one (21) households on Wodmej Island were each supplied with Solar Freezer systems to address food security. Green Energy Solutions supplied, installed and provided training to 26 end users (including 13 women). 5kW Arno Beach apartments Solar Project
5kW Off-grid Solar system installed by Green Energy Solutions to power 4 Apartments on Arno, Arno Atoll. The system combines a dual 220/110V split phase inverter with a manual transfer switch to accommodate Marshalls Energy Company (MEC) or backup generator input. With a 800Ah battery bank, the apartments are 100% off-grid.
maloelap atoll Solar freezer Project
To support entrepreneurship on Maloelap Atoll, businesses on Maloelap Atoll were given 315L Solar Freezers for (one for each of the businesses on the 5 Main communities on Maloelap Atoll: Tarawa, Aerok, Kaben, Jang and Wollot). The systems also came with specialized tools plus training for the users to ensure longevity of the systems.
